The French lessonWant to improve your French but can’t face missing out on those precious days in Paris? The French Lesson has the perfectly pronounced answer – each of their French classes give you not only the chance to brush up on your conjugations, but to discover some hidden corners of Paris – from cafés, markets to street corners. Trop bien! The course content is as interesting as the locations: with a focus on speaking, practice your French while discussing topics as diverse as the ‘dogs of Paris’, local neighbourhoods or classic French cinema. Taught by a friendly and engaging group of qualified language teachers, The French Lesson lets you learn the language and the city at the same time.

Architect Daniela Busarello moved from Curitiba to Paris in 2007; what should have been a sabbatical year has become over six years of creating interior architecture, scenography, graphic design, photography. She has created award-winning designs including a house in Brazil which received the national prize, as well as re-designing French apartments for a variety of local and international clients. Daniela creates comfortable spaces in which to practise the art of living each day.
If you’re a Parisian art lover, you may be interested in becoming more closely involved with some of this city’s wonderful museums. The American Friends Musée d’Orsay offer a Patron membership, proceeds of which support the collections and operations at the Musée d’Orsay and the Musée de l’Orangerie. Patrons enjoy the additional benefits of a private tour, invitations to special exhibition openings, as well as a membership to the Amis du Louvre. Membership costs $2,500 (USD) per year. Visit the AFMO membership page for more information or subscribe by completing their membership form.

Vingt Paris
Founded in 2005, Atelier FB is based around the studio partners, who share an idea of an interior architecture without artifice, that lies between spatial and functional requirements. Their work is centred around structuring spaces rather than decorating them, and it aims to transcend the essence of every project to create warm, living spaces that combine technology and architectural generosity.

La Cucina di Terresa
Terresa of “la cucina di terrESa” is on a mission to undress vegetables which she does during her private plant-based cooking classes in her cozy apartment in Paris. She can also take you on a “back-roads” Parisian food tour, organize a wine tasting in a cozy natural wine boutique, take you out to lunch in one of her favorite artisan cafés where natural wine flows, even accompany you to the Loire Valley to spend a day with a natural winemaker.
